In 2005 I returned to Cumbria after eighteen years living and working in Newcastle upon Tyne as an artist and a lecturer in painting. In recent years I have been making drawings, both representational and abstract, about the North Pennine hills and this now forms the bulk of my output. I also paint portraits.
