Whitewell Farm is just over a mile from Alston, on the A689 Nenthead/Durham road. On the right, visible from the road, up a short track with a hawthorn hedge.

I live and work in the North Pennines,a beautiful area of wild moorland and fells in the north east corner of Cumbria. Most of the pots I make are functional forms that are intended to be used in a domestic setting but I also make larger pieces that have no obvious use other than to hang on the wall and look at.

Although I spend most of my time in the studio making mugs, bowls, jugs etc. three or four times a year I run workshops with schools and community groups.
