Landscape, marine and industrial painter working full time from studio high on the Pennine fellside in Hilton. Also demonstrator and teacher around the north, and publisher of giclee reproductions.
Styles very different. Quiet watercolours capture the sharper lines of buildings, boats, machines etc. amid the soft tones and shapes of the natural landscape. More vigorous palette knife and brushwork, often "en plein air", are used in oils and acrylics to capture light shade and mood.
