From Penrith or Keswick take the A66 and turn off at the Sportsman pub, the second left to Berrier. Approx 5 miles on, I am on the left after a right turn to Newsham. Further on is Hesket Newmarket and the Old Crow, serving homemade food and locally brewed ale.
