I work in oils and pastels, portraying our local area as well as Cornwall and the Mediterranean . I try to capture the characteristics of area, the essence of the ever-changing appearance of the landscape, and the movement and reflections in water - which is a frequently recurring theme. Influences include Van Gogh, Hodler and the Canadian Group of Seven.
