Probably, the quickest way to reach these studios is to use the M6 over Shap but they could also be conveniently combined with all or part of the Mid Eden Route.

The tour crosses some stunning countryside and Orton, Great Asby, Kirkby Stephen and Ravenstonedale are all lesser known gems of the Eden Valley. From Junction 39 on the M6 head west and then turn south to Orton. North of Orton cross the region of exposed limestone pavements to Great Asby with a beck fl owing through the middle of the village. From there head to Soulby and thence to Kirkby Stephen. Return to the M6 via the A685.
